Donner Lake is located just south of Highway 80, and is centrally located to Sugar Bowl, Squaw-Alpine, Northstar, and Boreal Ski Resorts.  Boasting old Tahoe charm, and close to town; Donner Lake is a summertime favorite for locals and second home owners.  This community offers several beaches both public and private; not to mention over 31 public piers along the north shore of the lake.
